Camping with Ham QRP radio

I tested for my General Ham license last Sunday at the Peru, Indiana Hamfest. Now I can get on HF. We went camping in our Vardo. I was able to set up a couple portable antennas.

My other Interest

I started painting in 2003. I enjoy painting with the new H2O oils. I also do watercolor. This is some of my recent work, when we were in North Carolina. My favorite scenes are Seascapes.

Some of my works are from photos or memory of my travels.

Two Foot Looper Radio

Redid my 2 foot loop Ant/Radio. I will use better wire for it later. Pulls in 3 locals.

Protractor Radio

This little set is just for fun and the Grankids. Ran out of parts, so I thought the protractor made a good dial face. Very loud radio, with the Litz coil.

Favorite SW radio

My all time favorite radio, is my Sony 2010. They have yet to make a better one. I made a stand for it and a phone patch, so I can use my Japan Radio ST-3s phones. I never use it with an outside antenna. It just doesn't need it.
